A wooden storm door is attached to the outside of the door facing the courtyard. To open them, they must be stored together in a “door pouch” attached to the side of the door. This video shows how to open and close this shutter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the bedroom on the second floor, there is a “shoji” at the window. Outside of the shoji is a wooden storm door.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This shutter has no door pocket. It can be opened to the left or right.
This video shows how to open and close this shutter.
The storm shutters on the second floor may be a little stuck and difficult to open and close. If you try to force it open and close it, it will break, so please open and close it slowly and without force. If you are unable to close it, do not force it and leave it open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
